THE MIRANTE INSTITUTE OF ART AND CULTURE
The Mirante Institute of Art and Culture is a social, non-profit organization, established in 2021 with the primary goal of contributing to the management of cultural policies in the state of Ceará, protecting and safeguarding the fostering of artistic-cultural initiatives, and historical and cultural heritages.
Mirante Institute’s operations and linked, initially, to the management and carrying out of activities within the public cultural facilities of Ceará, in partnership with Ceará’s Department of Culture (Secult CE), particularly concerning the Complexo Cultural Estação das Artes, which encompasses the Pinacoteca do Ceará, the Mercado AlimentarCE, the Centro de Design and Museu Ferroviário, Ceará’s Museu da Imagem e do Som (MIS-CE), and the Centro Cultural do Cariri.
PHOTOGRAPHY INSTITUTE (IFOTO)
IFOTO is a privately held non-profit, established as an Association in 2004. Its purpose is to develop, promote, and create programs and actions designed to foster creation, appreciation, and dissemination of Photography in the full extent of its applicability, including the fields of arts, culture, environment, and tourism. It facilitates course, exhibitions, publications, and photography festivals in various towns across the state of Ceará.
